Woman Saw ‘Dead Dog’ She Wants To Bury, Got Body Bag Ready As Dog Tried To Stand

Rescuers were alerted to a rail-thin dog roaming the streets. She’d collapse in the middle of the road or sidewalk, unable to move. It was heartbreaking to witness.

Volunteers were amazed that Peanut as they called her was still alive when they first spotted her. Every bone in her body was visible. Due to severe mange, her skin was entirely furless.

She didn’t appear to have had a proper meal in a long time, yet she clung on and battled for her life. Her strength was undeniably inspiring.

One woman even packed a corpse bag in her car in case the dog had died by the time she arrived. But she barely clung to life.

Rescuers carefully lifted her up and transported her to the vet facility, although they were well aware of the truth. Peanut had an extremely little chance of surviving.

Her new human buddies were overjoyed when her blood test results came back. Distemper was negative, and everything else was curable.

Peanut, despite her looks, would be fine with the proper care.

Peanut’s immune system was in bad shape, and she couldn’t be around other ill animals.

Mike and Joy, who had fostered several dogs, were contacted by the organization and came to meet Peanut. She was clearly yearning for love and attention.

Peanut was welcomed home by the loving couple. They were told how to feed her so she would gain weight without becoming ill.

Peanut ate all of her meal. She was starving, but they knew she needed to pace herself.

Peanut then meets Mike and Joy’s second dog, with whom she is eager to play. She simply has to gain strength and she’ll be full of puppy vigor.

Peanut’s days are meticulously documented by the pair, and she has gained a healthy amount of weight in just one week. She’s still skinny, but she looks a lot better!

Her fur is coming in in some places as a result of medicinal baths used to cure her mange.

Peanut returns to the vet in three weeks for a checkup, and the entire staff is delighted. Her improvement is astounding. It’s as though you’re staring at a different dog!

She has not only acquired weight, but also confidence. Peanut feels much more secure now that he has a home. She never had reliable meals or anybody who gave her the time of day.

She now had both!

Peanut, like so many other pets, was longing for a second chance. Dogs are not supposed to live on the streets and survive on their own.

We thank everyone who steps forward to assist an animal. Rescue workers are the greatest.
